Publication of the Draft Limerick Shannon Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy

The National Transport Authority invites written submissions or observations on the draft Limerick Shannon Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy (LSMATS). The draft LSMATS sets out a framework for investment in transport for the Limerick Shannon Metropolitan Area for the next 20 years and includes proposals for the significant development of the cycle network and enhancement of bus services and infrastructure.
An Environmental Report has been prepared which assesses the likely effects on the environment of implementing the Draft Strategy. An Appropriate Assessment is also being carried out.

Written submissions or observations with respect to the Limerick Shannon Metropolitan Area Draft Transport Strategy 2040 and/or associated SEA Environmental Report and/or associated AA Natura Impact Statement made up to Friday 30th October 2020 at 5pm, will be taken into consideration in the finalisation of the transport strategy.
Submissions or observations should be marked with the subject title “Limerick Shannon Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy Consultation”, and submitted to limerickshannonstrategy@nationaltransport.ie or sent by post to National Transport Authority, Dún Scéine, Harcourt Lane, Dublin 2, D02 WT20.
