EU Passenger Rights
The National Transport Authority (NTA) is the designated enforcement body for:
- Regulation 181/2011 concerning the rights of passengers when travelling by bus or coach.
- Regulation 1177/2010 concerning the rights of passengers when travelling by sea and inland waterway.
- Regulation No 2021/782 concerning the rights of passengers travelling by rail.
This means the NTA’s role is to ensure that transport operators are treating all passengers as outlined in the regulations above.
Passenger Support
The Passengers should direct their enquiries and issues to the relevant carrier, operator or the NTA if they believe their rights have been infringed.
