COVID-19 Service Information Update

The Regulation requiring public transport passengers to wear a face covering has been signed by Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly and took full legal effect on Monday 13th July.

Authorised staff, including drivers and ticket inspectors may refuse entry to a person who is not wearing a face covering. Authorised persons may also ask a passenger who refuses to wear a face covering, to leave the vehicle.

These Regulations provide that members of the public who are 13 years old or older shall wear a face covering on public transport unless they have a reasonable excuse as set out in the legislation, you can find more information on their page.

We would like to remind passengers that public transport services continue to operate for necessary journeys at this time. We strongly encourage that anyone who can get to their destination by walking or cycling to please do so.

We ask that passengers continue to respect priority seating areas for those who need them and use your TFI Leap Card where possible.

Do not use public transport if you are experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19.

Summary of Timetables:

• Bus Éireann and Go-Ahead Ireland have returned to normal timetables.
• Iarnród Éireann 
  • A full DART timetable has now resumed on Monday to Friday only.  Revised and reduced DART schedules continue on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Revised Commuter service continues
  • Revised Intercity services continue with additional services from June 29th and revised stopping patterns in place on a number of services.
• Many Dublin Bus routes have returned to normal timetables. Exceptions include:
  • Xpresso Routes 25d, 25x, 31d, 32x, 39x, 42d, 46e, 51d, 51x, 53a, 68x, 70d, 77x are not operating
  • Routes 90, 116 and 118 are not operating
  • Revised timetables are in operation on Xpresso Routes 27x, 33x, 41x, 66x, 67x, 84x
  • A revised timetable is in operation on Route 142
  • Routes 9, 46a, 122 and 123 now operate a summer schedule
  • Term time departures are not operating throughout the summer
• Luas scheduled services continue to operate a normal service pattern.
• TFI Local Link services continue to operate to normal schedules except on some Local Link evening services on Door to Door routes (DRT) which are currently suspended. It is anticipated that these services will resume from August 10^th, subject to Government approval to move to Phase Four of the Roadmap for Reopening Society and Business. Until then, these resources will continue to be redeployed across the Local Link network as required. Please contact your Local Link directly for more details.
