The National Transport Authority today (April 11) published its Canal Cordon Trend 2006-2013 Report, which shows that public transport – bus, Luas, rail – and cycling are all increasingly popular with people travelling into Dublin’s City Centre (between the canals) in the morning rush.
This specially-commissioned INFOGRAPHIC shows the key survey results visually.
At 36%, however, car remains the most used means of transport for people travelling into Dublin on the morning commute, but this has been decreasing steadily over recent years, from a high point of 40% in 2010.
The data was collected and published in partnership with Dublin City Council.
