A network of Strategic Park and Ride (P&R) Sites are currently being progressed in the Greater Dublin Area and Regional Cities.
The extent of progress varies across individual Park and Ride projects, with some currently at Phase 1: scope and purpose, and others progressed up to Phase 5: detailed design and procurement, with the first new Strategic Park and Ride expected to be operational by Q1 2026.
These new P&R sites will include the provision of electric vehicle charging spaces, disabled parking bays and sheltered cycle parking and bicycle lockers.
