COVID-19 is an unprecedented challenge for SPSV drivers.
Drivers across the industry must review how they work, introducing new practices and procedures to ensure the health and safety of both themselves and their passengers.
Fáilte Ireland’s COVID-19 Infection Prevention Control training programme instils public confidence in safety standards and will enable drivers to provide the peace of mind their passengers expect when travelling.
This programme takes approximately 40 minutes and will guide you through the different safety measures and procedures which are required to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The programme will ensure drivers have:
- a clear understanding of the COVID-19 infection
- an awareness of their role in and responsibility for helping prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus
- a clear understanding of standard precautions surrounding infection control
- a clear understanding of the correct hand-washing techniques and practices
- a clear understanding of how to apply this knowledge to their place of work.
Drivers will receive a certificate on completion of the COVID-19 Infection Prevention Control training programme.
*Please note, that completing this training does not indicate completion of the Fáilte Ireland COVID-19 Safety Charter*
