A confidential telephone survey of SPSV drivers nationwide is currently underway. This survey, which is the fourth in a series of industry surveys which commenced in September 2020, aims to establish how services have changed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and covers areas such as current demand, operational expenses and insurance, together with other topical items for the industry. An online national survey of taxi users will also be conducted in parallel to establish how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted on taxi usage.
These surveys are being conducted by Behaviour & Attitudes, an independent market research company based in Dublin, on behalf of NTA.
All responses will be presented in collective form so results are anonymous. Participation in this survey is voluntary and operators can opt out if they wish.
