About Parliamentary Questions
The NTA Oireachtas Liaison Unit coordinates and manages responses to Parliamentary Questions (PQs). A Parliamentary Question is when a member of Dáil Éireann submits a question to the relevant Minister for answer. Where the Minister believes the question relates to an area of responsibility under the remit of the National Transport Authority (NTA), the Minister will then refer that question to the NTA for a more detailed response.
In that context and to promote greater openness and transparency, the NTA will publish its responses to Parliamentary Questions on a quarterly basis.
